Synchronicities & Balance of Energies
Visiting Uluru (Ayers Rock) had been on my wishlist for some time. I have a really long list of travel goals and when I had the opportunity to visit Darwin I thought it would be good to just ‘drop in’ on the way home… haha. It is so not on the way home.
But, you could say that “all the stars aligned” to make it happen. A special accommodation deal including a field of lights tour. A couple of airfares on sale and it was suddenly firmly in my future. Whenever I had asked the ‘Modern Oracle of Essential Oils’ deck about my upcoming trip to Uluru, the solar plexus and healing cards would always appear.
Uluru is known as the solar plexus chakra of the world and is said to have some amazing Ley lines there. (Where the Ley Lines intersect, are believed to be high points of energy or high concentrations of electrical charge. These Ley Lines are also said to be able to take information or energy from these higher vibrational points and carry them around the world, spreading knowledge and wisdom to all inhabitants). I was so wanting to experience this magnificent rock, do some creative and spiritual work while basking in the amazing energy of Uluru.
Many synchronicities happened on my way to and at Uluru, so much so that I was feeling really excited and positive about my visit. I won’t go into all of them but one was that in Darwin we checked into room 137 (numerology adds up to number 11) then when we got to Uluru we were checked into room 137.
What are the chances of that happening?
When I travel I’m always on the lookout for signs that I am in the right place. A heart shape rock in the middle of the trail will do it. Followed by my spiritual empowerment symbol the ‘spiral’. The signs just kept coming. The rock itself had an ’aura’ or an ‘energy’ that was at times so obvious and at other times it was signs and symbols along the way that caught my attention.
One of the synchronicities that amazed me was a chance meeting.
I had in my mind that I wanted to climb the rock, but I am very aware of my limitations due to having EDS (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome). I also was not wearing the right shoes for climbing the rock which is known to have steep slippery angles. I had put it out to ‘Spirit’ that if I was to climb, then the rock would be open and it would just all happen.
I awoke that morning to thoughts of the people that have been climbing the Himalayas and coming to grief, and for whatever their reason for climbing it did not seem worth it. I questioned my reason for climbing and it was to feel the energy of the rock and the Ley lines. Did I need to go to the top?
Well, the choice was taken out of my hands when my feet kept slipping out from under me and I could see myself doing some serious damage to myself. I climbed up to where the rocks at the base stopped and there was a very slippery part and looked down and wondered how I was going to get down. My husband who was ahead of me advised me not to do it, knowing how stubborn I could be but also due to having hyper-mobility (part of EDS) and being somewhat ‘klutzy’. Time to admit defeat!
I sat and started to meditate absorbing the energy, becoming aware of the changes and connecting. It was amazing. After some time when I was just coming out of the meditation, a young lady asked me if I was okay. I opened my eyes and assured her that I was just meditating. We got talking and she confided in me that she was limited too, as she had Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Wow! What were the chances? (Between 1 in 20,000 to 40,000 for our type). An unbelievable coincidence. We got to compare notes on our lives with this syndrome and much more. She was happy to see someone much older than her still living life actively although with some limitations. Here was another blessing and a message that everything was as it was meant to be.
The next day I went to visit Kata Tjuta (The Olga’s). Again amazing energy and synchronicities. The flies were bad and wearing a fly net was a sanity saver. In our hire car, you would have to get in quick so the flies did not follow. We were driving with annoying flies and I opened my window and said gently “Out you go, I have had enough”. All the flies on my side went and my husband just looked at me as if I was kidding, the only flies left were on his side even though both windows went down. I cheekily asked, “Would you like me to get rid of your flies too?” Haha.
The beauty of Uluru and Kata Tjuta will stay with me forever. The healing and lessons learned too. It is said that Uluru is where Aboriginal men’s secret business is done, while the nearby Kata Tjuta is a place for women’s secret business. Yes, even here there is a balance. For me, it is not about climbing the rock but experiencing the energy and the healing. By visiting both places I was ensuring balance. I left Uluru feeling very blessed.
