Building my Power…
Congratulations to all of you who opened your emails in time to receive my meditation ‘Building your Power’ for FREE.
Thank you also to those of you who emailed and expressed gratitude. It is so encouraging to hear your feedback and of the amazing results. I would love it if you would leave a review on the thinkific site where you listen to the meditation.
Watch out for July’s ‘freebie’ which we will again announce in our newsletter, as that way we can be sure you hear about it. More and more people are saying they are not seeing my facebook posts. What I have noticed is that if you ‘like’ my posts then they will keep appearing on your facebook feed, and then you will know when I am doing the free readings and giving away gifts.
This week I want to say a big thank you to Adelaide for supporting me last weekend at the Body, Mind, Psychic Expo. I really enjoyed myself and I want to say a special thank you to my gorgeous ‘bestie’ Marilla for looking after my stand so beautifully and making the trip so much more fun.
Traveling with me is always an adventure and boy did we have an adventure. I encouraged Marilla to get that haircut she had been putting off, we went shopping…uh oh! We visited not one but three chocolate shops, something I never do, and now I have a pimple on my face that I have named ‘Haigh’s” haha.
We stuffed ourselves with delicious ‘hemp’ granola bars, so much so that our other ‘bestie’ thought we were getting ‘high’ on them, which was not at all possible, but we were having so much fun it sounded like it. We also found time to attend a show of impromptu comedy at the Adelaide ‘Cabaret’ which lucky for us was on at the same time. All this happened before the expo, because once the expo starts, there really is no time for anything else.
When I attend these expos I expend a lot of my energy and I put the rest of my life on ‘hold’ to focus on the healing of my clients. My family knows that I am not really available unless it is an emergency, as I am unable to take their calls when I am giving my clients my undivided attention.
The big lesson I am learning is ‘balance!’ If I go flat out all the time, then something has to give.
Balance to me is early nights while at the expo’s, as the days are long and I can be doing readings for 8 hours straight or more, back to back, as it was the case in Adelaide. Doing the readings is the easy part when it comes to my energy. Once I go into that reading energy I like to stay there and ‘ride the wave’, doing back to back readings is the easiest way for me, but when I come out of that energy I quickly start to slow down.
What lesson have I learned?
To allow myself a few healing days after these big weekends where I do nothing ‘energetically’, and focus on building my energy again.
Is this possible? Not always as you can’t always plan for surprises and challenges.
What happens when I don’t at least try to rest? Well, you can guess, starting with my immune system lowering, fatigue sets in, etc. Stopping doesn’t mean grinding everything to a halt. It means taking time to heal and nurture my mind, body, and spirit.
How do I do that? I exercise, bring my eating patterns and diet back on track, walk on the beach, do my meditations and maybe watch a movie or read a book. Life still goes on but you pick your battles.
So I ask you, what do you do to bring balance into your life?
Are you going flat out with whatever you are doing and never taking time to nurture yourself?
Are you always rewarding others and never rewarding yourself?
Do you need to plan to have time out?
I will leave that with you. Meanwhile, I am going to now go and do my ‘Building your Power’ meditation. Remember to leave me a review if you were quick enough to get a free meditation for us.
